The first book in my new Mack's Bar series, MURDER ON THE ROCKS, written under the pseudonym Allyson K. Abbott, was released last week and it debuted this week at #32 on the Barnes & Noble Bestseller list for mass market paperbacks! Thank you readers!

MURDER ON THE ROCKS is a mystery featuring Milwaukee bar owner, Mackenzie "Mack" Dalton, a feisty redhead who has a neurological disorder known as synesthesia. Her disorder causes her senses to become cross-wired, something she considers a pain. But Detective Duncan Albright considers it his secret weapon when it comes to solving the murder of the woman whose body Mack finds in the alley behind the bar, a woman who just happens to have been the girlfriend of Mack's murdered father at the time of his death eight months earlier.

Not only will MURDER ON THE ROCKS give you an entertaining and unique mystery read, there are some fun drink recipes included, both in alcoholic and non-alcoholic forms. Help spread the word, and thanks again to all you readers out there.

I loved this book! It took me almost two days to complete it and I just did not want to put it down. Will this story continue or move on to another?

It will continue. The second book in the series will be out next year (I'm guessing around the same time this one came out...August.) Thanks!!!

I'm hooked! When is #4 of Mack's series going to come out?? It's cruel to leave me hanging with Gary dead and a paper napkin from Mack's bar stuffed in his mouth.

I'm with Burna!! We need #4! Oh, and I have an apology to make - I paused reading number 3 to read the newest Stuart Woods. What a mistake! Thank you for a coherent plot, intelligent writing and realistic characters. I'll even forgive the cliff hanger as a thank you!
